The longest and most challenging hike in Kluane National Park, the Donjek Glacier Hike should be done by experienced hikers who are totally knowledgeable in map reading (google map on your cell phone won’t be adequate) and you must be able to cross rivers, build fires under all conditions including snow, and carry enough food for eight to ten days. Carrying a location device is also recommended.
